Who are we?

At Girls on Track UK, our core aim is to increase female participation across motorsport. We want to show girls, through our school programme, that there’s a space for them in motorsport, whether they want to start from the cockpit, pit wall or in the grandstands.

Age

8-18 years old

Location

Nationwide, South East, South West, London, East Anglia, West Midlands, Yorkshire, North East, North West, Scotland, Wales

What do we do?

Join us for a one-day Taster session at a motorsport venue, where girls from your school can explore career opportunities in the industry. Participants will engage in six activities, each highlighting a different role in motorsport, such as engineering, media, technical positions, and many more.

Our school events provide an all-female safe space that encourages girls to try something new, step out their comfort zones and build their confidence.

For teachers, we have free extracurricular resources available to download, including worksheets and lesson plans: Schools Education Programme – Motorsport UK

Join our mailing list, follow our social media, and encourage your students to join our online Facebook community where we post a range of opportunities in the industry: Girls on Track UK | Twitter, Instagram | Linktree

I genuinely have found this to be one of the most inspirational days for girls. The atmosphere is abuzz with female pride. A wonderful mix of things to see and do.

Thank you very much for providing us with the Cosworth Experience. I really enjoyed all the activities (especially pit-stop). Learning what happens behind the scenes broadened my horizons and seeing women working in those jobs was very inspiring

Frequently Asked Questions

The Inclusion Hub, developed by Motorsport UK and Mission 44, simplifies access to motorsport opportunities for young people, educators, and underrepresented groups. It offers clear pathways into the sport through volunteering, education, career resources, and community-building opportunities.

The Inclusion Hub is available to anyone looking to find opportunities in motorsport. However, the platform is aimed at young people that are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM).

The Inclusion Hub will help Motorsport UK and its partners deliver on their mission to make motorsport more inclusive, diverse, and accessible. By providing a comprehensive digital hub, we can ensure that young people, regardless of background, have the tools and opportunities they need to thrive in motorsport.

Use the platform’s search and filter tools to explore opportunities based on location, interest, or type (e.g., clubs, volunteering, jobs, or education programmes).

The platform highlights job boards, career guides, webinars, tips, and scholarships. You can also connect with industry leaders and organisations to build your network. Additionally, the platform features extracurricular programmes that can help you build valuable skills and enhance your CV—qualities that employers in the motorsport industry highly value. These programmes include volunteering, club participation, and hands-on experience through STEM-related initiatives, all designed to give you a competitive edge in your career development.

The hub is regularly updated with new opportunities, resources, and success stories to ensure users have the latest information available.
