FastForward Vocational Training collaborates with TeamSport at venues across the UK enabling students to gain qualifications in motor vehicle engineering, STEM subjects, and functional skills.
Since 2018, FastForward has partnered with TeamSport to deliver a vocational training programme for students aspiring to pursue a career in mechanics. Offering the Level 1 Motor Vehicle Studies course, accredited by Skills Education Group (SEG) helping those at risk of leaving education without qualifications. Since its launch, we have introduced a Level 2 STEM programme, equipping students with skills for life beyond education as well as our Functional Skills package in partnership with BTEC.

Running Monday to Friday during term time, students attend a TeamSport venue for a blend of classroom learning and practical sessions. As a reward for their hard work, they get to enjoy a go-karting track session. Sessions typically run from 09:30 to 14:30 and are delivered by instructors in a fully operational track environment. This provides students with real-world experience, working on actual karts and using a variety of tools. FastForward offer programmes of varying lengths, including two accredited options of 38 weeks and 20 weeks, as well as shorter taster sessions for those looking to explore the course.
Level 1 Motor Vehicle Studies (Ages 14-16):
This year-long qualification, with a 20-week option, provides students with motor vehicle studies alongside opportunities to achieve English and Maths qualifications.
Level 2 Progression into a STEM Career (Ages 14-16):
Focused on preparing students for life after school, this programme covers key STEM subjects, CV writing, and interview techniques to equip learners with essential skills for the future.
Taster Sessions (Ages 12-16):
These sessions offer an opportunity to explore motor vehicle concepts in an engaging environment, without working towards a formal qualification.
