Race for Diversity offers a funded two-year school partnership, providing internal activities and external school trips to promote STEAM engagement and encourage students to pursue careers in motorsport.
Race for Diversity is a programme that aims to inspire and encourage young people to participate in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) and then later pursue a career in motorsport, with a particular focus on supporting those from underrepresented, racially diverse, and socio-economic backgrounds.

Race for Diversity offer a 2-year partnership with schools in which they run hands-on activities, careers sessions and events. This can range from internal activation days to external inspirational school trips, such as Goodwood Festival of Speed and Formula Student finals that provide the students with industry connections and links to future employment.

Our involvement with Motorsport UK over the last year means we have a great insight into the aims and objects of the various projects through Race for Diversity. We have attended two events to date as a group of diverse students and thoroughly enjoyed the experiences as we gained more insights into the various jobs available in motorsports for all genders and races.
My piece of advice to a teacher of a young person passionate about motorsport and STEAM, is to reach out and email us. We want to destigmatise motorsport and any notion of who does or does not belong in the industry. We want to highlight the number of different career opportunities available to young people and we want to do it in a fun and engaging way – get in touch and find out more about our partnerships!
