Racing with Team NMAUK students may be eligible to fund their studies through a tuition fee loan from Student Finance, subject to the course and individual eligibility. We also offer a discount to students who choose to pay their full course fees upfront. Our enrolment team can provide further information on eligibility, payment options and current discounts.
Our dedicated Student Services team works with every student individually to ensure they have the tools, guidance and support they need throughout their studies. This includes discussing any disabilities or additional needs and helping to identify appropriate reasonable adjustments. As our courses are delivered entirely online, students can access their learning materials from their own environment and organise their studies around their individual circumstances. Our Student Services and academic teams remain available throughout the course to provide ongoing support.
We welcome new students at the beginning of every month, giving applicants the flexibility to start their studies throughout the year. To join your preferred monthly intake, your enrolment must be completed by the 20th of the previous month. For example, to begin studying in October, everything must be finalised by 20 September.
I left my job, threw myself at my studies and fully immersed myself into the motorsport world from the bottom. My goal was to achieve a first in every module because I felt it was important to show high levels of work over a long period of time. I’ve made friends for life. People who I could call at any time and they would be there to support me and I would support them too. The NMA community is fantastic and offers a great opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in a safe, exciting and fun environment. This year I worked with Innovation Racing in GT Cup, a championship I’ve got lot’s of experience in. I also took on media responsibilities halfway through the season and worked with the Short’s (Marcus & Morgan) on their Mosler at the Silverstone round of The Dutch Supercar Championship.
As a mature student, it was important to me that I could keep working as I still have a household to support and the team have been great at helping me keep a balance between home, work and study.
I’ve been lucky enough to have some amazing experiences! Starting as a trainee data engineer with Idola Motorsport, I also work with the F.A.T Karting League as an Event Electrical Engineer, looking after the fleet on event and supporting the next generation of drivers on their journey. The hybrid and electric vehicle module applies to my role with FKL all the time and is feeding into my dissertation quite heavily.
